We are currently on day 4 of 31 of the current season with 20 games played.

DMR is back in action with 4 new refs: fez_2k1, bandit, Resti and jamez.
We've also returned to 16 player races, so be sure to get involved as often as possible :) |

Well, it's been awhile due to the lack of demand for DMR. Now it's back and better than ever!
We've reduced the limit of players in a race to 12. Hopefully, this can fill more races. Good luck for the season! |

Due to a lack of demand for DMR and shortage of races being hosted, an off-season is in effect as of now.

The 4th season of DMR is about to end. It was another sucessful season of racing but we did not reach 100 games unless of course we can step it up and host 50 more races in the next 2 days! Averages are close on top of the leaderboard so it can be anyone taking the top spot this season.
All-Star Race is yet to be scheduled due to the Easter Sunday. We wish the whole UGN Community a Happy Easter and Happy Racing! |

Season 4 is underway. The all star race was held yesterday with a victory by Y. He topped the regular season leaderboard and won the all star race as well. Congrats to him and lets have another fun season with twice as many games hosted last season!
There's also one more reminder. When you lose, please cross the finish line, it makes it easier on the ref as well as the race. It's not that hard, just cross! Thanks :) |

I have decided to add google ads to the UGN sites.
Please please PLEASE do not abuse these ads in any way. Do not spam them, only click them if you are actually interested in what they are offering.
They will only show to users who are logged into the site so I will be able to track whoever abuses or spams them. If I catch anyone, those responsible will be banned for a very long time! |

I have decided that my new method of calculating the % Games Required isn't working. The idea is based upon having a large number of games in a season, and at the moment things are a little slow.
I have decided to have a compromise where 12.5% will be the required percent.

As of now I am experimenting with the Required Games % to be in the top portion of the leaderboard. Previously it was fixed at 10%, but now it will depend on the total number of games that have been played. The actual value will be the square root of the total games played.
By my estimates, this should gradually single out the inactive racers by the end of the season with a fair % games required. If you have any suggestions on how to improve this method, please post in the DMR suggestions forum. |
